Contains a good stock of "three to the pound" indigenous brown trout with pounders not uncommon. The loch is well managed by the Kilsyth Fish Protection Association, who supplement the indigenous stock each year with rainbow trout All methods allowed(except float and swimfeeders) season 15th march - 10th october loch stocked twice a year .Bank fishing only! Braigh Horrisdale Loch - Wild or Hill Loch Ross-shire 19 70:70 Wild Brown Trout No 0 Entry path at Sheildaig Hunting Lodge Hotel (Mario, proprietor)(Landranger 19, 80:72)follow stalkers path for 3-4K, Excellent wild browns. camps reservoir Loch - Wild or Hill Loch crawford Lanarkshire Wild Brown Trout Yes 0-10 A nice area,although it is a dam it has a wild feel to it.It is situated close to the village of crawford off the m74.Follow the narrow winding road to the waterworks the keepers cottage here supplies permits if no one at home an honesty box is fixed to the gate.
